Out here in the weeds.
Harsh Marsh is rooted in learning and sharing, and if we had a grand plan, it’s to foster a sense of exploration and experimentation in our community.
We believe that many of the issues we collectively face stem from an inability to really see ourselves as part of a bigger whole…and to act accordingly.
We’re curious about ways we can help to better align our social/cultural/economic needs with those of the ecosystems we build them within — so we have a more sustainability system in place for us all to thrive.
Essentially, we’re searching for balance.
A little of this and that.
We produce films that share stories to help audiences navigate a complex world.
We harvest invasive Green Crabs to protect ecosystems and because they are tasty.
And we document all the experiences, insights, and resources we collect in our curious pursuits of local food, conservation, storytelling, and more — with the hopes that it helps others chase their own curiosity.
We’ll also shift with the tides, so this space will change over time.
